Dear Celtic Cross Family and Friends,
On Sunday, March 15, Session met and discussed ways to decrease our congregation’s exposure to the Coronavirus / COVID-19.
It was decided to cancel the host week for the Macomb County Warming Center. We know this is disappointing to cancel an event that brings us together and strengthens our faith, but the risk of infection to volunteers and guests was too great. Know that those we would have served will still receive some support from Celtic Cross. The proceeds from the Sub Sale and Soup Luncheon will be donated to the Macomb County Warming Center. $790 will go towards coats and programs to help them in their plight. We have also renewed our commitment to host again in 2021.
We have also cancelled the Senior Luncheon scheduled in March and possibly April.
Since schools are closed until Easter, we will not collect items for Dinner Baskets for Lincoln Elementary.
The Mission Committee appreciates your support for all of our efforts in our Church and the community. We will get through this time and serve again.
